All Dogs Need Worm Treatment Regularly to effectively prevent worm infestations in breeding kennels it is important to treat pregnant and nursing bitches at mating and before whelping, and to commence a regular worm prevention program in young, growing pups from 3 months of age. It is very important to treat all dogs at once so that the risk of re-infection from untreated dogs is reduced. At the same time, removal of all faeces, and an effective flea control program will help control internal parasites in all of your dogs. Effective Whipworm treatment will require dosage every 6-8 weeks after 3 months of age. Roundworm and hookworm should be treated at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks and then every 3 months. Treatment for Hydatid Tapeworm prevention requires dosing every 6 weeks.
